Connected platforms

To publish to your channels, JARAI needs permission to post on your behalf. You grant that once per channel via OAuth under Settings → Connected platforms. After that, approving a production to publish fans it out to your connected channels automatically.

  1. Open Settings → Connected platforms.
  2. Click Connect next to a platform (YouTube, Instagram, TikTok, LinkedIn, X, Pinterest, Facebook…).
  3. Complete the platform’s OAuth consent in the popup.
  4. The channel shows as Connected — approved productions can now publish to it.

Connecting a channel

  1. Click Connect for the platform. You’re redirected to that platform’s own consent screen.

  2. Grant the requested scopes. JARAI asks only for what it needs to publish and read back basic engagement.

  3. Return to the Console. The platform now shows Connected, with the account/handle it’s linked to.

How publishing uses connections

When you Approve to publish a finished production (see Distribution & publishing), JARAI’s distribution loop posts to each connected channel that’s in scope, then tracks the published URLs and engagement back into the Distribution dashboard.

Tokens, expiry & reconnecting

OAuth access is token-based and tokens expire or get revoked by the platform. JARAI refreshes them automatically where the platform allows. If a channel shows Disconnected or Needs attention:

  1. Reconnect — click Connect again and re-grant consent. This is the fix for an expired/revoked token.

  2. Check platform-side access — if you removed JARAI’s app authorisation on the platform, you’ll need to re-authorise.
