Reviewing productions
When a production is ready, it appears on your Client Portal home page for review. Nothing is published until you approve it — you’re the final say on what goes out.
Prefer to read? Open the step-by-step transcript
- Open the production from Awaiting your approval on the home page.
- Watch or listen to the finished video or audio inline, with captions where available.
- Open Review & Publish to work through the per-platform rights review.
- Approve to release it, or Reject with a reason to send it back.
Finding productions to review
Section titled “Finding productions to review”The Client Portal home page lists Awaiting your approval first, then your recent productions. You’ll also get an email whenever a production needs your decision — it doesn’t link to the production yet, so open it from the home page to start reviewing.
Previewing
Section titled “Previewing”-
Watch or listen to the deliverable. The finished video plays inline (with a captions track when one exists) or, for audio-only productions, the audio plays inline. Download links are offered for the video, audio, captions and transcript, and for each platform’s own cut when platform variants were produced. If nothing has been produced yet, the page says so plainly — the storyboard below is all there is to look at until it has.
-
Read the details — the topic, the act/scene structure and duration, and the scene-by-scene storyboard (a thumbnail and the dialogue for each scene) for context.
-
Open Review & Publish — this is the per-platform rights review. JARAI surfaces advisory warnings (content safety, copyright, likeness, attribution, quality) per target platform. Acknowledge the ones you accept so you’re publishing with the risks on record. Full detail is on Approval and rights review.
Approving or rejecting
Section titled “Approving or rejecting”- Approve → the production is released for publishing. Depending on your account’s settings, it either goes straight to the connected channels or waits for your account manager’s final release — either way, nothing publishes without your approval first. An optional note travels with your decision.
- Reject → you must give a reason. The production is marked Failed; nothing publishes and nothing is deleted — the deliverables stay in place. A rejected production doesn’t currently support editing and re-running in place; talk to your operator about starting a fresh production with the changes you want.
- Per-platform choice → approval itself is whole-production, but the rights review lets you hold a platform back: a platform with no warnings publishes automatically, one with warnings only publishes once you acknowledge it, and you can leave any platform unacknowledged (or withdraw an earlier acknowledgement) to keep it from going out.
