Team & seats

More than one person can use your JARAI account, at different access levels. If you’re on a team plan, capacity is shared across everyone. This page explains the roles and how seats work.

Manage your team

  1. As a Customer administrator, open the Team & console seats section of your organisation in the Studio Console.
  2. Invite teammate by email and pick their role.
  3. Administrator can manage and approve; Finance viewer sees billing only; Viewer is read-only.
  4. On the Atelier plan, capacity pools across all seats.
Role Can do
Administrator (Customer administrator) See everything for the customer, approve/reject productions, manage billing (change plan, buy extra usage, update the card), manage team members
Finance viewer Billing, invoices and P&L only — read-only on every billing page (spending, balance, invoices, tier, auto-reload and cap settings) without being able to buy, change plan or edit them
Viewer (Customer viewer) Read-only on every account they’re permitted on — see productions and status, but not approve; sees no billing pages at all

Give people the least access they need: most stakeholders only need Viewer; give finance the Finance viewer role if they need to see the numbers without committing spend; reserve Administrator for those who approve content or manage billing. On the single-seat Creator and Pro plans the one user holds every role.

The Atelier plan is built for teams: instead of a per-person allowance, capacity pools across all seats. More seats means more shared capacity, drawn from one allowance. Individual members still have their own logins and visibility, but they spend from the shared pool.

Seats are managed in the Team & console seats section of your organisation’s page in the Studio Console — as a Customer administrator, that’s on your home page. Each seat also has the same controls on that person’s contact page.

  • Invite teammate by email; they get access at the role you choose, and a sign-in link.
  • Change a role as responsibilities shift (e.g. promote a Viewer to Administrator), and choose which of your accounts each person can access.
  • Suspend a seat to pause someone’s access, and reactivate it later.
  • Revoke a seat when someone leaves — their console access ends at once and their contact record is kept. A revoked seat can’t be reactivated; invite them again to restore access.

On Atelier, which bills per live seat, suspending, reactivating or revoking a seat also changes the seat quantity on your subscription (prorated). On other plans the bill does not change.
