JARAI notifies you by e-mail when a production is ready for your review and approval. This page explains what triggers that e-mail, and what the portal does and doesn’t do beyond it today.

  1. When a production is ready for your decision, you get an email telling you so.
  2. Sign in to the Client Portal and open it from Awaiting your approval on the home page.
  3. Review the assets and Approve or Reject.
  4. Any production you weren’t emailed about but that’s waiting for you still shows under Awaiting your approval on the home page.
  • A production is awaiting your approval — the most important one; nothing publishes without your decision. The email tells you a production is waiting; it doesn’t link to the production yet, so open it from the portal’s home page.

The portal also emails you about things you started yourself:

  • Your invitation to the Client Portal, with the link to set your password.
  • Messages you send to JARAI — the acknowledgement and replies (you can also follow them under My requests in the portal).
  • Privacy requests you submit from My Privacy Rights — for example, when an access export is ready to download, or when a request is completed or cannot be completed.

There’s no notification for status changes on productions you’re not being asked to approve, and no account or billing notices sent to portal users — billing is your operator’s, through the Studio Console.

  • By email — to the address on your Client Portal invitation, whenever a production needs your approval.
  • On the home page — the Client Portal itself always lists everything currently awaiting your approval, whether or not the email arrives.

The portal has no in-app notification indicator or list beyond the home page, and no push notifications. Your browser may offer to install the portal as an app, but the installed app is the same website in its own window — it has no offline mode and no background notifications.

The Client Portal does not have a notification-preferences page. If you’re missing the approval email, confirm your contact address with your operator, and check your inbox’s spam folder — or just check the home page directly, since it always reflects what’s waiting for you.
